Contemplation, Dreaming, and Critical Thinking
Over the course of 4 weeks we will explore the arts through a meditative lens and Mindfulness exercises. We work through a guided creative practice each week using the different mediums of visual art, written word and sound.

Meet the Facilitators
Iona & Kasia are committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences and building relationships within the group.

Iona Singleton, founder of Within Without, works with artists across all disciplines to encourage a slow and considered approach to creativity, helping their work move into the world, changing society and world-views.
She has a decade of experience in facilitating and leading events in the music, art, and wellness industries across the world. As an Ayurvedic practitioner, writer, and artist she has worked across different cultures with leading alternative healers, as well as master musicians and artists.
Iona is passionate about providing support structures that create the space for a kind of learning, development, and experience that opens creatives to new possibilities.

Kasia is a freelance photographer working across the UK and internationally. Her interest in visual storytelling started while studying Anthropology. She’s interested in capturing candid images that bring a meditative quality to mind. Focuses on people, their relationship with themselves, others and the natural world.
While she’s not holding a camera in her hand, she is working on an MA in Buddhist Studies, is a student of a qigong teacher mentorship programme with Mimi Kuo-Deemer and a dedicated Zen practitioner.
Kasia lives in Cornwall with her husband Charlie and their dog Kiki.

Absolutely! We’d like to encourage our students to explore what creativity means to them. We like to think that a career within the art sector is not a requirement for developing a creative practice.

You’ll have an opportunity to work on individual and group assignments that will allow you to find inspiration outside of your regular medium. You’ll also become a part of a supportive community of like minded thinkers.

90 min once a week plus a little bit of extra time for the assignments

We are both here to provide you with as much support as you may need. Despite the fact, we are facilitating group sessions, you’ll be able to message us directly and we will do our best to address your inquiries.
